Details

The Building Safety (Regulator’s Charges) Regulations 2023 sets out chargeable functions and the basis of charges. The BSR charging scheme defines the charges, including their triggers and who will pay.

For each chargeable function, the charging scheme explains: 

• what the function is
• what triggers charges
• who pays charges
• charge amounts and, in some cases, how they are calculated
• how BSR processes payments and repayments
• the queries and disputes process
• the legislation that provides for charges
