Details

The purpose of this Circular is to draw attention to the following amended publications:

• Approved Document L1B (Conservation of fuel and power in existing buildings) incorporating 2010, 2011, 2013, 2016 and 2018 amendments)

• Domestic Building Services Compliance Guide 2013 edition incorporating 2018 amendments

• give notice of the withdrawal of approval of earlier editions of the Approved Document and compliance guide

• set out the transitional provisions which apply.

The changes made by these regulations apply in England.

These amendment regulations come into effect on the 6 April 2018.
