Details

The Secretary of State, under section 47(6) of the Building Act 1984, has approved public liability and professional indemnity insurance schemes offered by Lockton Companies LLP for building work in England, and for building work in Wales on excepted energy buildings, that is covered by initial notices given under section 47(1) of the Building (Approved Inspectors etc.) Regulations 2010.

This approval takes effect on 1 December 2017 and continues in effect until withdrawn by the Secretary of State.

The department has also published a divisional circular letter informing building control bodies of this notice of approval.
