Details

The purpose of this circular is to draw attention to:

  • the Building (Amendment) Regulations 2016 (SI 2016/490) and how the amendments apply to the Building Regulation 2010
  • the publication of a new Approved Document R

The changes made by these regulations apply in England and to excepted energy buildings in Wales.

These amendment regulations come into effect on the 1 January 2017.
