Details

The purpose of this circular is to:

• draw attention to the Building (Amendment) Regulations 2014 (SI 2014/2362) and the changes they make to the Building Regulations 2010
• announce the revocation of the authorisation of a competent person self-certification scheme (HETAS Limited) for a type of work and the revocation of the authorisation of a third party certification scheme (BSI Assurance UK Limited) for a type of work

The changes made by these regulations apply in England and to excepted energy buildings in Wales. These amendment regulations come into effect on the 1 October 2014.
