The report sets out the conclusions and recommendations of the second part of the independent triennial review of the British Transport Police Authority (BTPA). The authority is the non-departmental public body that oversees the British Transport Police which is responsible for policing the rail and other networks.
Part 2 of the review has considered issues raised by the industry about the effectiveness of the BTPA in the discharge of its functions and the industry’s ability to influence outcomes.
