Details

The claimant alleged breaches of the union’s rules. At a preliminary hearing, it was argued by the union that the Great Britain Certification Officer had no jurisdiction to hear those claims, as the alleged breaches were said to have occurred in Northern Ireland. It was decided that the Certification Officer had jurisdiction to determine the complaints.
