Chair of Trustees, Disasters Emergency Committee. For services to Humanitarian Crises.
Sue Inglish is recognised for exceptional voluntary leadership in international humanitarian response, and for the impact of her service on the UK’s global humanitarian standing. As Chair of the Disasters Emergency Committee, she has steered the organisation through a period of unprecedented global crises, overseeing multiple major appeals and providing clear, authoritative direction at moments of intense public and operational pressure. Alongside her public role, she has driven significant improvements in governance and organisational effectiveness, strengthening the DEC’s credibility, resilience and ability to deliver at scale. Her contribution has helped ensure that the UK remains a trusted and influential humanitarian actor internationally.

Neil CROMPTON CBE
HM Ambassador to Ukraine. For services to British Foreign Policy.
Neil Crompton has had an outstanding diplomatic career, marked by leadership in some of the UK’s most demanding foreign policy environments. As HM Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, he advanced UK/Saudi relations during a complex and sensitive period, demonstrating strategic judgement and resilience. More recently, as HM Ambassador to Ukraine, he has provided calm, effective leadership at a critical moment, offering trusted advice to Ministers and strengthening the UK’s diplomatic presence in-country. Building on 3 decades of service across the Middle East and other challenging contexts, his work has made a major contribution to UK foreign policy and international security.
