Details

The physical and mental health screening tool is one of a number of Early Practice Changes that are available to use in youth offending teams before the technical deployment of AssetPlus. Each YOT can decide locally whether to implement each Change.

The physical and mental health screening tool and supporting guidance will help practitioners identify any health needs in young people. The YJB has consulted with Public Health England and the Offender Health Research Network in the development of this tool.

Please ensure you read all of the supporting guidance before implementing the tool.
