Details

The Advocate General for Scotland invites applications from interested junior Counsel for appointment to a panel of Junior Counsel to the Advocate General for Scotland. It is anticipated that this panel will be convened for a period of three to six months. It is being formed at the request of the Secretary of State for the Home Department in order to cover tribunal appearance work during a particularly busy period in the Presenting Officers’ Unit in Glasgow.

Appointment to the Panel is open to any member of the junior Scottish Bar other than counsel holding appointment as an Advocate Depute, or as Standing Junior Counsel to the Scottish Government.
