You should only use a form if you cannot apply online. Search and examination fees are not included in the application fee.

It’s quicker and cheaper to apply for a patent online:  

• £75 if you pay at the time of filing 

• £95 if you pay later 

If you use a form the application fee is: 

• £120 if you pay at the time of filing 

• £150 if you pay later
