Use this form to either:

  • apply to set up a new ATC
  • apply for an extra class of approval

Read the Approved Tachograph Centre manual before you apply. Section 3 tells you what you need to include with your application.

How to apply

  1. Download and save the application form on your computer before you start to fill it in.

  2. Open the form on your computer, fill it in and save it again.

  3. Email the form to tachosection@dvsa.gov.uk. You need to attach any documents to support your application.

  4. Pay the application fee by credit or debit card (DVSA will tell you how to do this after you’ve applied), or by cheque or using a pre-funded account.
