This strategy builds on AHVLA’s science strategy, 2012 - 2015.

It outlines how the agency will ensure that science is embedded across APHA and is the foundation for the evidence and expert advice provided to policy customers, industry and stakeholders.

It sets out a framework of strategic themes:

  • threat awareness
  • threat definition
  • threat mitigation

These are supported by enabling themes:

  • capability
  • partnerships
  • maintaining and developing facilities
  • communicating our science
