We have a received a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 for the following:
“I am currently advising a client on the current and future markets for ANPR. Obviously, the police market is important.
Please can you advise me of any ongoing research into the use of alternative or complementary technologies such as vehicle identification and tracking, tag and beacon etc. and approximate timeframes for implementation.
I should also appreciate sight of any readily-available reports you have re ANPR in the UK.”
