This annual report describes the work of the Animals in Science Regulation Unit during 2022 in regulating work under the Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act 1986 (ASPA) as amended in 2012.

   An error was identified in the ASRU Annual Report 2022 following publication. On page 56 the graph Figure 2: Inspectorate staff 2021 to 2022 contained incorrect information. This information has been corrected.
