This document contains the following information: Animal Health annual report and accounts 2007 to 2008.

Formerly known as the State Veterinary Service and, in April 2005, they became an Executive Agency of Defra. More recently they were joined by the Dairy Hygiene Inspectorate, the Egg Marketing Inspectorate and the Wildlife Licensing and Registration Service to together become ‘Animal Health’ on 1 April 2007.

This paper was laid before Parliament in response to a legislative requirement or as a Return to an Address and was ordered to be printed by the House of Commons.
