This publication includes a comparative analysis of Ofsted ratings for local-authority-maintained schools that have become sponsored academies since 2010. This analysis only includes sponsored academies where an inspection has taken place since it opened as an academy.

The spreadsheet provides data tables on the schools used in this analysis and includes:

  • their Ofsted results when governed by the local authority
  • their Ofsted results after becoming a sponsored academy
  • when these inspections took place
