We were asked, what is the value of rail travel paid for by the Welsh office in 2009/10, 2010/11, 2011/12? How does this expenditure break down between First Class and Standard Class?
- The total amount spent on rail travel between April 2009 and March 2010 was £174,642.57, and of this £131,480.90 was spent on first class travel.
- Between April 2010 and March 2011 we spent £82,137.90 on rail travel, and of this £351.50 was first class travel. All the first class travel was undertaken before 10 May 2010.
- Between April 2011 and March 2012 we spent £87,174.79 on rail travel, none of which was on first class travel.
