Aluminium extrusions from China (anti-dumping duty 2462)

The initiation of a UK anti-dumping investigation concerning aluminium extrusions, originating in the People’s Republic of China was announced on 21 June 2021 on The Trade Remedies Authority’s website.

Interested parties should register their interest by 6 July 2021 if they wish to participate. Read case AD0012 on the Trade Remedies Authority’s website for details.

Affected products

Product concerned are:

  • bars, rods, profiles (whether or not hollow), tubes, pipes
  • unassembled
  • whether or not prepared for use in structures (for example cut to length, drilled, bent, chamfered, threaded)
  • made from aluminium whether or not alloyed, containing not more than 99.3% aluminium

The goods are commonly referred to as ‘Extrusions’, referring to its most common manufacturing process, even if the goods can also be produced by other production processes such as rolling, forging or casting.
