Allen Newport Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 8 of The Water Abstraction (Transitional Provisions) Regulations 2017.
The Environment Agency has received the following abstraction licence application within the Cam and Ely Ouse catchment.
The application is for a licence to transfer water as follows:
- 421 cubic metres an hour
- 6,740 cubic metres a day
- 2,460,100 cubic metres a year
- between 1 April and 31 March inclusive in each year
- at An area defined by the 4 points TL 75895 71749, TL 75856 72199, TL 76010 72252 and TL 76215 71915
- from abstraction location Sands and Gravels at Marston’s Pit, Cavenham
The water will be used for Transfer for the purpose of dewatering.
