Using artificial intelligence (AI) is becoming part of everyday work. People across all jobs and sectors need the right skills to use AI safely and effectively. 

This document outlines the basic skills people need to use simple AI tools at work.

Industry partners are using the AI foundation skills for work as a benchmark to create foundation AI courses for the government’s AI Skills Boost programme.
