This document contains the following information: Agreement between the government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the government of the Republic of India on the transfer of sentenced persons: New Delhi, 18 February 2005.

Instruments of ratification were exchanged on 21 November 2005 and the Agreement entered into force on that date. The Agreement was previously published as India no. 1 (2005), Cm 6512.

This Command Paper was laid before Parliament by a Government Minister by Command of Her Majesty. Command Papers are considered by the Government to be of interest to Parliament but are not required to be presented by legislation.
