Implementation of the online ARAP Eligibility Self-Checker for applicants - BETA

Updated 3 November 2025

As of 3 November 2025, the MOD has introduced an online ARAP Eligibility Self Checker into a (BETA) live testing environment, so that ARAP applicants can check the progress of their application. This tool provides clarity for ARAP applicants as to what stage their ARAP application is at in the decision-making process.

To access the tool for either an ARAP or AFM update, applicants will need to use their ARAP application or Review number at the following link. The applicant is able to check the progress of their ARAP or AFM application using this tool on a weekly basis. An update on the status of their application trajectory will be sent to the email address associated with their ARAP application.

In order to ensure the tool produces optimal results for applicants, the Online ARAP Eligibility Self checker will remain in a live testing (BETA) environment, and we encourage feedback on the self-checker in its BETA form, should applicants engage with it.
