These reports include findings from a research project commissioned by the Department for Education into the barriers preventing people from adopting children. They also provide a clearer understanding of the potential market for adopter and foster carer recruitment in England.

The market research, conducted by Kindred and Work Research, involved 18 extended interviews with individuals and couples, as well as an online survey of 4,948 adults based in England.
