1. Request

How many part 1 and part 2 Motorcycle practical tests where conducted in the uk for the years 2009-2012 by month?

2. Response

Module 1 and module 2 tests came into effect on 27 April 2009. You can find information about tests conducted up to 31 august 2012 on our website at https://www.gov.uk/government/statistical-data-sets/drt04-practical-motor-cycle-test-pass-rates. This information is exempt under section 21 (information accessible by other means) of the FoIA and a copy of this exemption is attached at Annex A. Details of tests conducted between September and December 2012 is due to be published on 28 February and will be available on our website at the link above. This information is exempt from release under section 44 (1)(a) (prohibitions on disclosure) by virtue of the Pre-release Access to Official Statistics Order 2008 which limits access to official statistics until their date of publication. As this exemption is an absolute exemption we are not required to conduct a public interest test. A copy of this exemption in full can be found at Annex B.

How many of those tests in the same period by month resulted in accident or injury incidents to candidates?

The tables below show the number of recorded incidents occurring on the module 1 and module 2 practical motorcycle tests between April 2009 and December 2012.
