This guide is intended to help and encourage local planning authorities (LPAs) to go beyond the minimum requirements for access to planning information, and for providing information at a reasonable cost to the customer. It will help in preparing statements of community involvement by providing practical examples of ways in which LPAs have increased access to planning information.
