Details

Academy trusts in scope will need to submit their March 2016 accounts returns to the Education Funding Agency (EFA) by 31 May 2016 using the template and guide on this page.

The academy trusts in scope:

  • trusts with academies open at 31 March 2016 that did not prepare audited accounts at 31 August 2015
  • trusts that did prepare audited accounts as at 31 August 2015 but have opened academies between 1 September 2015 and 31 March 2016

If you have Excel 2010, please use the first version of the template. The second template is for those who do not have access to Excel 2010.

You can now register for EFA’s live webinar on completing the March accounts return. It takes place at 3pm on 26 April 2016.

  1. The Education Funding Agency (EFA) has published the March 2016 accounts return for academy trusts. Trusts must complete and submit this return to EFA by 31 May 2016 if they had academies open at 31 March 2016 but did not prepare audited accounts at 31 August 2015; or if they did prepare audited accounts as at 31 August 2015 but have opened academies between 1 September 2015 and 31 March 2016.
