The full business case for upgrading the A428 Black Cat to Caxton Gibbet scheme has been approved.

This scheme will upgrade the A428 between the Black Cat roundabout and Caxton Gibbet roundabout with a:

  • new 10-mile dual carriageway
  • number of junction improvements

The accounting officer assessment of the scheme was completed in November 2023.
