Report looking into the needs of the children’s workforce for support, guidance and training on child poverty and disadvantage.

Detail

This project aimed to identify effective models and strategies for developing the knowledge and skills of the children’s workforce in relation to child poverty and disadvantage. It looks at the diversity of needs in the core and wider workforce and across the public, private, voluntary and independent sectors.

The report examines the needs of the children’s workforce for support, guidance and training on child poverty and disadvantage, and what support, guidance and training currently exist, or are under development, specifically on the topic of child poverty.

It also looks at what other training and resources exist on aspects of childhood disadvantage more generally and if there are shortfalls in provision and how these might be addressed.
