Victoria Billing

Biography

Victoria Billing was appointed His Majesty’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Denmark in March 2026. In May 2026, she was accredited by His Majesty the King of Denmark and began her official posting.

Victoria was FCDO Director Europe, covering the Mediterranean and Western Balkans, from 2022 to 2025.

Victoria previously served as Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Republic of Senegal and Non-Resident Ambassador to the Republic of Cabo Verde and Republic of Guinea Bissau.

Victoria joined the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) in 1997. She has previously been posted to Rangoon and Jerusalem.

The Ambassador represents His Majesty The King and the UK government in the country to which they are appointed. They are responsible for the direction and work of the Embassy and its Consulates, including political work, trade and investment, press and cultural relations and consular services.
