Biography
Prior to joining the UK Hydrographic Office, Vanessa has been a multi-award-winning consultant and senior customer experience (CX) and end-to-end customer lifecycle leader. She has over 25 years’ experience in creating and implementing successful transformation and CX strategies for customer-centric operations.
Vanessa specialises in growth strategy, change and digital transformation, including strategic thought leadership for end-to-end customer journey transformation, and applying Artificial Intelligence and machine learning to enhance customer environments.
Chief Executive, UKHO
The Chief Executive heads the Executive Committee and is responsible for the management of the trading fund.
Responsibilities include:
- setting the direction of the organisation
- defining and delivering the UKHO strategy and vision
- leading the UKHO corporate and business plans, and transformation initiatives
- ensuring alignment with MOD and wider UK government
- implementing risk management policies
- maintaining the reputation of the UKHO
- developing and leading the Executive Leadership team
