Tasha Harris

Biography

Tasha Harris became Deputy Head of Mission at the British Embassy Yerevan in 2026.

Tasha is a British diplomat with over twenty years’ experience in security, governance and international engagement. Her career has included postings in Afghanistan, Pakistan and St Helena, where she has worked on strategic communications, security cooperation, governance, public services and international partnerships.

Before coming to Armenia, Tasha served on St Helena, including periods as Acting Governor, working on a wide range of policy, operational and community issues. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with governments, international organisations and local communities.

As Deputy Head of Mission in Yerevan, Tasha supports the Ambassador in taking forward the UK-Armenia Strategic Partnership, including closer bilateral cooperation, trade and investment, and stronger people-to-people and cultural links.

Tasha is accompanied in Armenia by her family and is looking forward to learning Armenian and exploring the country’s history, culture and landscapes.
