Suzy Levy took up her appointment as a non-executive director for the Home Office in September 2015.
Suzy is the Managing Director at The Red Plate. She worked for Accenture until 2015 and led the strategy and implementation of progressive inclusion and diversity, employee engagement and talent initiatives in the UK. Under Suzy’s leadership the programmes achieved national recognition including Stonewall #1 on the Workplace Equality Index, top 10 rankings from Business in the Community for race and gender, and top 10 in the Business Disability Forum Index.
In addition to her experience in people and talent, Suzy has over 15 years of professional services experience working with large multi-nationals implementing change programmes, from sales, marketing and go-to-market strategies, to major transformations, company mergers and new product launches. Suzy also sits on the board of the Women’s Sport Trust.
The non-executive director team come from the private sector with experience of managing large or complex organisations and projects.
Non-executive directors provide advice and bring an external perspective to the department. They also provide support, guidance and challenge on the progress and implementation of operational business plans, recruitment and succession planning.
