Sarah Cullum
Biography
Sarah Cullum is the UK’s Deputy Permanent Representative to the Council of Europe.
Sarah joined the diplomatic service in 2001 and specialises in Europe policy. She has served as a negotiator in Brussels, as Deputy Head of Mission in Bucharest and Economic Counsellor in Rome. In her 2 postings to Brussels, she worked on EU enlargement, and Eastern Europe.
In London, Sarah spent 3 years leading the UK effort on climate security. She speaks French and Italian.
Deputy UK Permanent Representative to the Council of Europe
The Deputy Permanent Representative is a senior diplomat and typically a key advisor to the Permanent Representative. The Deputy is responsible for the daily management of the Mission. They represent the UK’s interests in the absence of the Ambassador as Chargé d’Affaires.
