Sarah Clifford
Biography
Sarah is responsible for the organisational performance and intelligence, change management and business improvement and strategy and business development functions within DBS. Prior to this she was Associate Director of Strategy and Business Development overseeing policy, planning, inclusion and internal and external engagement. She joined DBS in 2021 after working in Director/senior roles for various government bodies and charities in a range of areas including child and adult disability, conservation, police complaints and prison monitoring.
Acting Executive Director of Strategy and Impact
The Executive Director of Strategy and Impact provides inspirational leadership of the development and delivery of the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) strategy, policy, performance management and insight functions.
With overall responsibility for business planning, partnerships and communications, the Executive Director works closely with the Chief Executive, the Executive and the Board to translate DBS’ strategic vision into operational delivery.
