Roseanna Watson
Biography
Roseanna Watson was appointed British Consul General in Düsseldorf in December 2025. She is the UK Government’s representative in North-Rhine Westphalia, Hesse, Rhineland Palatinate and Saarland.
Before arriving in Düsseldorf, Roseanna served as Counsellor at the British Embassy Berlin, where she led work across Germany on europe, global and economic issues. Her most recent role in London was as Senior Private Secretary to the Foreign Secretary. Prior to joining the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, she held international roles in the Cabinet Office, Ministry of Defence, and Department of Health, following a career in the private sector.
