Biography
Rose is the Deputy Head of Mission in N’Djamena. Prior to Chad, Rose was the Gender Equality Negotiations Lead for the FCDO.
Rose’s previous experience includes UN policy, negotiations, and reform; gender, equality, and human rights policy; European and South Asian trade policy and market access; and a posting to Istanbul.
Rose has a degree in Politics and Sociology from the University of Bristol, and a Masters in International Development from the University of Edinburgh.
Deputy Head of Mission, Chad
The Deputy Head of Mission is a key function for the Embassy and an important advisor to the Ambassador. The Deputy is responsible for the daily management of the post and represents the UK’s interests in the absence of the Ambassador as Chargé d’Affaires.
