British High Commissioner to Fiji

Roderick Drummond


The British High Commissioner His Excellency Mr Roderick Drummond arrived in Fiji on 18 August 2013.

Mr Drummond joined the Diplomatic Service in 1985.He was Deputy Head of Mission and Consul General at the British Embassy in Riyadh before coming to Fiji. He is married to Yasmin and they have five children.

The High Commisioner is the UK government’s representative in a Commonwealth nation. They are responsible for the direction and work of the High Commission and its Deputy High Commissions and/or Consulates, including political work, trade and investment, press and cultural relations, and visa and consular services.
