Pete was promoted to the role of criminal investigations manager in the SIA’s Criminal Investigations team, and was promoted again to the role of Head of Criminal Enforcement. In this role he co-authored a new compliance, supervision and enforcement strategy, setting the direction for a significant change in regulatory approach. This included the development of the SIA’s financial investigation capability and the expansion of investigatory powers in support of the SIA’s public protection remit.
