Paul Dinkin
Biography
Paul Dinkin was appointed to the role of Director General, Strategy and Healthcare Policy in November 2025.
Paul has spent the past decade at McKinsey and Company, where he led the firm’s UK healthcare practice and co-led the work it does with publicly funded health systems globally.
Prior to that, Paul spent several years in senior strategy, policy and delivery roles across Monitor, NHS Improvement and NHS England. His work included supporting challenged providers and systems and helping to introduce new care models to join up services across England.
