Parul Kumar is an experienced business leader, entrepreneur and Board member with over 25 years of international experience leading transformation, innovation and organisational change across financial services, healthcare, technology, e-commerce and scientific publishing.
She has held senior executive positions at organisations including London Stock Exchange Group, GSK, UCB, eBay and Expedia. Her expertise spans customer experience, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, operational excellence, corporate governance and leading large-scale change in complex and matrixed organisations.
Parul is the Founder and CEO of Circolis, an AI-powered technology company focused on sustainability, regulatory compliance and procurement, enabling businesses to meet their net zero targets.
Throughout her career, Parul has championed customer-centric innovation, diversity, inclusion and responsible adoption of technology. She is passionate about developing people, building high-performing teams and ensuring that organisational transformation delivers meaningful and lasting value for customers, communities and society.
DBS Associate Board Member
Board members are senior figures from outside DBS who bring a mix of expertise and skills from across the public and private sector. They all:
- oversee performance
- set the strategic direction for the DBS
- support and challenge management on implementing the DBS strategic direction
- make sure that statutory duties are carried out
DBS board members are appointed following open and fair competition and in line with the Governance Code on Public Appointments. The appointments are for an initial period of 3 years, with the possibility of re-appointment.
