Neil Bradley

Biography

Neil Bradley was appointed as Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Republic of Liberia in July 2020. Prior to his appointment he was Head of the Human Rights Policy Unit from 2017 to 2020, based in the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office in London.

He has served in a variety of postings including as Political Counsellor at the British High Commission in Pretoria, First Secretary (Justice & Home Affairs) at the United Kingdom’s Permanent Representation to the European Union, and a secondment to the European External Action Service.

The Ambassador represents His Majesty The King and the UK government in the country to which they are appointed. They are responsible for the direction and work of the embassy and its consulates, including political work, trade and investment, press and cultural relations and consular services.
