Mick Moore
Biography
Mick joined UKAEA in 2001 as a project manager. He has since delivered technical and project solutions to Rolls Royce, the Ministry of Defence Submarine Capability and AECL Chalk River in Canada, before returning to Dounreay in 2013 as maintenance authority and works control process owner. In 2015 Mick was appointed to the role of Technical Director, In January 2020 Mick was appointed to the role of Operations Director.
Mick has a Master’s Degree In Engineering Management from Loughborough University. He is a a Chartered Mechanical Engineer with IET, a Chartered Project Manager with the Association of Project Managers, and a member of the Institute of Fire Engineers.
