Mark Hoble JP

Biography

Mark Hoble is a former partner at Mercer, one of the World’s leading Management Consulting firms. He is a specialist in advising companies on matters such as the people aspects of mergers and acquisitions and Board level remuneration. During his professional career Mr Hoble has worked with global clients in many industries including major companies based in the Middle East, Hong Kong and the US as well as Europe.

Mr Hoble sits as a Magistrate in London and holds a BA(Hons) degree in Economics from the University of Nottingham as well as an MBA from London Business School. Mr Hoble is also a Freeman of the City of London.

The member of the PRRB is responsible for providing independent advice to the government on pay and conditions for police officers at or below the rank of chief superintendent in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

NCARRB Member

Members of the National Crime Agency Remuneration Review Body are responsible for:

  • making recommendations on the pay and allowances of National Crime Agency (NCA) officers designated with operational powers
  • considering written evidence from the Home Office, the NCA, trades unions and other interested parties
  • conducting research on pay and related matters
  • visiting the NCA to meet NCA officers with operational powers and management to gather information and views on pay and related issues
