Lisa Weedon

Biography

Lisa Weedon arrived in Brazil in October 2019 to take up her role as Deputy Consul General in Sao Paulo and Minister Counsellor Trade & Prosperity across Brazil.

Prior to this she was based in Johannesburg and has also undertaken postings in Myanmar, Indonesia and in London. Most recently in London as Deputy Director International Strategy in the newly created Department for International Trade. Lisa is responsible for the day to day running of the British consulate in Sao Paulo and representing the British Government externally in Sao Paulo city and across the state. She also leads the breadth of the UK’s trade and prosperity work across Brazil.
