Linda Hamilton

Biography
Linda started her career as a commercial litigator in an international law firm. She joined the civil service in 2007 in a range of challenging roles, including Private Secretary to the First Minister of Scotland; Deputy Director of Defence, Security and Cyber Resilience; Senior Responsible Officer for EU Exit and Gillen Review Implementation in the Department of Justice, Northern Ireland and Head of Organised Crime in the Fraud Investigation Service in HMRC. Linda was also Global Director of Financial Crime Operations at JP Morgan Chase, before rejoining the civil service in her current role as Director of Security, International and Politics at the Northern Ireland Office.
Linda specialises in justice and security issues, transformation and operational delivery and is committed to working with partners to maximise impact and improve outcomes for communities.
