Keith Allan presented his credentials to Her Excellency Dr Ameenah Gurib-Fakim GCSK, CSK, PhD, DSc, President of the Republic of Mauritius, on 24 August 2017.
Keith joined the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office in 1988. He is a career diplomat who has enjoyed a range of interesting postings around the world. His previous appointment before coming to Mauritius was as Her Majesty’s Consul General in St Petersburg, Russia.

Keith was born in Glasgow, Scotland in 1968. He is married with a son and 2 daughters.
British High Commissioner to Mauritius
The High Commissioner is the UK government’s representative in a Commonwealth nation. They are responsible for the direction and work of the High Commission and its Deputy High Commissions and/or Consulates, including political work, trade and investment, press and cultural relations, and visa and consular services.
