Kate Guthrie
Biography
Kate is a senior executive with over 30 years experience in a range of sectors including financial services, pharmaceuticals, FMCG and retail. She has held a number of senior HR roles including Chief People Officer for Virgin Money PLC. She brings extensive experience of organisation transformation, people strategy, mergers and acquisitions, culture change, talent and succession, including at board level; and performance and reward at plc level.
Kate is a board member at Border to Coast Pensions Partnership where she is also the Remuneration and Nominations Committee Chair; and a Senior People Advisor with Virgin Management Limited.
Kate had previously served on a number of charity boards including Lloyds Banking Group Foundation as the inaugural Chair. She sat on the Board of Action for Children and was Chair of Scotland, Senior Independent Director and Remuneration and Governance Committee Chair. Kate was also a board member of the Virgin Money Foundation.
