Julian Brazier

Biography

Julian Brazier served as Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Ministry of Defence from July 2014 until July 2016. He was elected Conservative MP for Canterbury in 1987.

Political career

Julian was a member of the Defence Select Committee from 1998 to 2001 and from 2010 until his appointment as a minister. He was appointed Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Ministry of Defence on 15 July 2014.

Career outside politics

Julian served as an officer in the Territorial Army (Army Reserve) for 13 years, 6 of them in airborne forces.
