Julia Beck
Biography
Julia is the Chief Strategy and Impact Officer at UK Export Finance, the UK Government’s Export Credit Agency. Her responsibilities include leading the department’s strategy, planning and governance; product and policy development and management; engagement across government and with Parliament; UKEF’s export credit agency relationships and engagement in international fora; the department’s response to climate and sustainability; management of environmental and social risks; and information access and management. She is also a member of UKEF’s Executive Committee.
Prior to taking on this this role, Julia established and led UKEF’s Strategy function, having previously been Head of Corporate Communications, responsible for overseeing UKEF’s press office, internal communications and speechwriting.
Julia joined UKEF in 2016, having previously worked in international relations and communications in the UK Parliament. Julia began her career in PR and public affairs consultancy. She has an MA in Law.
